Mongrue is a generational family name that has been used throughout many decades by over 200 people. It is considered a popular name in Liberia, a West African coastal country, and is typically associated with the tribe called the Gio. Every time we meet a client, we are not only representing our brand but also the past, present, and future generations that share the family name.

Mongrue’s Executive Rides was founded by Augustus D. Mongrue Jr.

In 2004, he came to the United States as a Liberian refugee with his mother and four siblings through the intergovernmental organization, United Nations, due to the fifteen-year civil war occurring in their home country. While helping his family, he graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Rochester, NY, and attended the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, NY majoring in Economics and international politics. Soon after, he married Christina Mongrue and is now a father of five children. He has relocated to North Texas, where he and his family fellowship at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas.   

In July of 2019, Mongrue resigned from his job in the banking industry in Fargo, North Dakota, and relocated to Dallas, Texas for a warmer environment and better opportunities. During his transition, he started driving for a popular ride share company. His passengers were impressed with the unique quality and excellent customer service. He decided to become a private driver and referred his service to his customers, spreading the word about his newly found business to friends, family, and co-workers. By July of 2020, Mongrue registered his business as a Limousine service with the state of Texas and continued to grow his resources.

For your safety, we carry commercial insurance and valid limo operating permits. Our chauffeur recruiting process is precise, and we go above and beyond the transportation regulation requirements for the safety of our customers.

All our drivers are required by law and Mongrue’s policy to transport riders who use foldable mobility devices.
Drivers are required to assist riders in the storage of their mobility devices, unless physically unable to do so.
Mobility devices include the following:
• Foldable wheelchair
• Foldable walker
• Foldable scooter
• Canes, crutches, and other smaller assistive devices
Wheelchairs and scooters that can safely and securely fit in the vehicle’s trunk or backseat, without obstructing
the driver’s view, must be accommodated by drivers. Drivers may not deny service to or otherwise discriminate
against individuals with disabilities. Drivers who are found to have refused service due to a mobility device are
at risk for removal for violating Mongrue’s Executive Ride Terms of Service.
